About Our Beef Donair Platter

The beef donair is a Calgary staple, and at Empire Shawarma we honour that tradition with our own authentic twist. Our beef donair is made from a blend of premium ground beef seasoned with a proprietary Middle Eastern spice mix, then slow-cooked on a vertical rotisserie until perfectly caramelised on the outside and juicy within.

Each platter comes loaded with fluffy rice pilaf, golden potato wedges, a fresh garden salad, and our house-made hummus. We top it all off with garlic sauce, sweet sauce, tahini, and a kick of hot sauce. Locals from Rosemont to Collingwood call it one of the best donair platters in northwest Calgary.
